The 54th International Siratun Nabi (SA) Mahfil, initiated by the eminent scholar Hazrat Maulana Hafiz Ahmad, popularly known as Shah Saheb Qebla Chunati, commenced on September 17, 2024. The 19-day-long event took place at Shah Manzil Sirat Ground in Chunati, Lohagara, Chattogram.
The session was presided over by Alhaj Maulana Nurul Alam, Principal of Hemayetul Islam Fazil Madrasa, Bajalia, Satkania. Jointly conducted by Maulana Faruk Hossain, Principal of Chunati Hakimiya Honors Masters Madrasa, and former Principal Hafizul Haque Nizami, the gathering featured insightful discussions by prominent Islamic scholars.
Scholars’ Reflection: Life, Death, and the Eternal Truth
The speakers emphasized the inevitability of death, highlighting how humans often forget this eternal truth while becoming engrossed in worldly affairs. They observed:
"People strive to evade death, yet it is the only certainty in life. Caught up in the allure of the world, they forget Allah's commandments and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SA). This preoccupation with material life leads them to neglect the eternal truth of death and the hereafter. Despite the illusion of escaping death, no one can avoid it when the time comes."
The discussions were enriched by the contributions of:
- Maulana Muhammad Mozammel Haque, Khatib of Baklia Haji Muhammad Ali Jame Mosque.
- Maulana Riyazur Rahman Al Arabi.
- Maulana Saiyidul Alam Armani, Muhaddis of Hossainia Azizul Ulum Madrasa, Lohagara.
- Maulana Yusuf Bin Nuri, Assistant Professor of Arabic, Jaforabad Islamia Fazil Madrasa, Chandanaish.
